The National Policing Digital Strategy, launched in January 2020, emphasised that the pace of change has never been this fast, yet it will never be this slow again. Never more so than during the worldwide events of 2020 has technology been relied upon so heavily to help us adapt and revolutionise the way in which we interact, plan and deliver our services and enable workforces and the public to stay connected.

We are living through the remarkable advances of a fully technology-enabled society, borne out of necessity but affording huge additional opportunities to policing and its public and private sector partners. The police service has long needed to catch up, and keep up, with a constantly evolving digital landscape. Now, however, it is seizing current opportunities at a pace we could never have envisaged.

The Digital Police Summit 2021, delivered in partnership between the Police ICT Company and the National Police Technology Council, is maximising the opportunities of digital with a three-day virtual event, taking place 2-4 February 2021.

Digital Policing Summit 2021 focuses on the tangible delivery of the National Policing Digital Strategy, accelerated even more by recent events, citing content and examples of good practice from within policing across the strategy’s five key ambitions: Seamless Citizen Experience; Addressing Harm; Enabling Officers & Staff Through Digital; Embedding a Whole Public System Approach; and Empowering the Private Sector.

The event will harness the flexibility of a digitally-empowered audience to deliver a range of interactive sessions containing a mix of keynote speakers, breakout sessions, feedback, challenge and discussion forums – all delivered using the power of the Microsoft Teams platform. It is open to both policing and its public and private sector partners. Register now so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to contribute to this important event.

Costs

The Summit is free to attend for policing representatives and their public sector partners.

Entry to all sessions during the three-day event for private sector delegates is charged at a flat rate of £75 + VAT per person. Please note that in order to achieve a 50/50 ratio of suppliers to policing delegates, a limited number of tickets will be issued initially and an automated waiting list will be operated, with further tickets released periodically thereafter.
